Irrigation Maintenance Technician - Grass Master

Grass Master is looking for an Irrigation Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Irrigation Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining commercial irrigation systems. Must be able to communicate professionally with managers, supervisors, and crew members.

Responsibilities and Duties

·         Installing systems and ensuring that they function efficiently

·         Repairing and maintaining valves, tracing electrical components, installing and initializing clocks and timers, locating existing zones and valves and performing pump repairs

·         Adhering to Company’s safety policy and ensuring that the public will be safe while in contact with crews

·         Ensuring that customers are satisfied completely through effective communication, relationship building, and regular site visits

·         Reporting results to Irrigation Manager

Requirements:

·         Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with commercial irrigation systems

·         Strong work ethic

·         Effective oral and written communication skills, Excel and Word a plus

·         Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

·         Experience with customer service

·         Irrigation certification a plus

·         Knowledge of two-wire systems

·         Must have offense free valid drivers license

·         Will work in harsh environments: heat and humidity

·         Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
