About the Job
- Establishing quality standards for products a company produces
- Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes
- Inspecting and testing the materials and equipment produced
- Using gauge such as micrometer screw gauges to measure products.
- Removing products that don’t meet production standards and recommending strategies to improve product quality.
- Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production team
- Performing inspections at random to assess product quality.
- Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions, and examining functionality
- Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database
- Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements.
- Verifying all equipment has calibrated up to date.
- Complete other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Education Degree
High school degree
Working Experience
At least 3 years’ experience in quality inspector or above in automotive or auto parts industry.
Specialist Knowledge
Responsible for maintaining and implementing the quality system.
Familiar with audit requirements of OEMs and Tier1 customers, VDA6.3/6.5 audit, proficient in 8D, Minitab, TS five tools
Professional Certificate
C1 driver's license, IATF16949 Internal auditor qualification certificate.
Computer Skills
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
