The Advanced Applications Mobile Engineering Team at Comcast has been tasked with delivering versions of our apps that are customized for partners, and localized into languages other than English. We are looking to form a localization release team within our engineering team to take responsibility for delivering these custom releases in the weeks following our regular feature releases.

What you'll do as an iOS/Android Localization QA Engineer:
Help define (and potentially automate) a process for testing customized builds.
Advise the QA team on best practices for maintaining multiple products in a single test repository.
Provide technical support and guidance to vendors during the testing cycle.
Triage and test fixes for bugs found during customization and/or localization cycles.
Test customized builds after daily API deployments to ensure they function as expected.


Attributes For Success:
Experience with iOS and Android native client application testing.
Solid understanding of internationalization and localization.
Good communication skills.
High regard for maintainability.
Strong debugging skills (HTTP Proxying, crash log analysis, etc) and attention to detail.
iOS/Android test automation experience is a plus.
iOS/Android Native Application Testing - 4+ Years
