** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Project Support to fill a two-year assignment in the Birmingham, AL area.
This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.

Rates: $30.00 - $36.00
Prior experience in project coordination or support roles preferred.
1 to 3 years of power delivery engineering experience is preferred, but will consider
3 to 5 years of Outside Plant (OSP) permitting experience with a telecommunication company.
If the absence of related experience, candidates must possess the ability to understand work-flows for joint use make-ready, or rapidly develop knowledge of joint use concepts.
Skills:
Excellent organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Effective communication
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira)
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point)
Ability to create Power BI dashboards and reports.
Experience in SQL, Excel, Access, Power BI, and other database and reporting tools is preferred.
GIS knowledge or experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Documentation and Coordination:
Maintain project documentation, including schedules, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
Coordinate meetings
Track action items
Follow up on deadlines
Resource Management:
Assist in resource allocation, ensuring the right people are assigned to tasks.
Monitor resource availability and resolve conflicts.
Risk Management:
Identify project risks, assess their impact, and propose mitigation strategies.
Work closely with the project manager to minimize risks.
Communication:
Facilitate communication among team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
Ensure everyone is informed about project updates and changes.
Quality Assurance:
Review project deliverables for quality and adherence to standards.
Address any discrepancies promptly.
Budget Tracking:
Assist in tracking project expenses, maintaining budget records, and ensuring financial compliance.
