Investment Operations Analyst – Investment Management – New York, NY 10104
We are currently seeking candidates for an Investment Operations Analyst position located in New York, NY 10104. The role is with an industry leading investment management firm. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of professional experience of performing reconciliation of holdings and transactions between the various systems and custodian banks. Qualified candidates that would like to work 100% REMOTELY will be considered for the role. All remote candidates MUST live in MA, NY, CT, RI, or NJ.
This is a full-time permanent position that will pay a 65K-70K base salary plus bonus.

Job Responsibilities:
- Enter and validate cash transactions using the portfolio accounting systems
- Assist in managing securities data and pricing to ensure accurate characteristics and appraisals for performance measurement.
- Prepare both routine and customized reports to address internal and external requests effectively.
- Provide support for monitoring trade detail workflows, including collaborating with trading desks and counterparties on settlement information.
- Confirm that trade data is properly integrated into the accounting system and shared with custodians when necessary.
- Perform reconciliations with custodian banks:
- Ensure timely reconciliation of holdings and transactions across various systems and custodial records.
- Document and track discrepancies to ensure resolutions are implemented accurately.
- Generate reconciliation reports using multiple systems for use by internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 1-2+ years of investment management, fund accounting, and portfolio accounting experience.
- Familiarity with fixed income and equity securities.
- MUST have 1+ years of reconciliations experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functionalities.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of correspondence.
