We are seeking candidates for an Investment Operations Analyst opportunity with an elite Investment Management Firm located in Miami, FL. The Investment Operations Analyst will be involved with portfolio accounting, managing cash transactions, performing reconciliations, researching, and resolving discrepancies, and managing relationships with custodian banks. Qualified candidates that are 100% remote will be considered (Must be in EST).
This is a full-time permanent position paying between $60K-70K (depending on experience).

We are seeking candidates for an Investment Operations Analyst opportunity with an elite Investment Management Firm located in Miami, FL. The Investment Operations Analyst will be involved with portfolio accounting, managing cash transactions, performing reconciliations, researching, and resolving discrepancies, and managing relationships with custodian banks. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular reconciliations of holdings and transactions between internal systems and custodian banks. Research and resolve discrepancies.
- Record and validate cash transactions within the portfolio accounting system to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the upkeep of securities and pricing data to guarantee precise characteristics and valuations for performance analysis and appraisal purposes.
- Produce both routine and custom reports as required to fulfill internal and external reporting needs.
- Support the monitoring and processing of trade data received from trading desks in collaboration with counterparties, ensuring the correct transfer of trade information to the accounting system and timely reporting to custodians.
- Create and distribute reconciliation reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with vendors, custodians, and other industry partners to enhance service quality for the investment management firm and remain informed about current developments and changes within the financial markets and industry standards.
- Support special projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Required).
- 1-3+ years of investment operations, portfolio administration, and reconciliations experience.
- Previous experience working in financial services, investment management, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of fixed income and equities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V-lookup, Pivot-Table).
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
