About the Job
Minimum qualifications:
- JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
- 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
- Experience with internal investigations, legal, and regulatory matters
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience developing, evaluating, and maintaining programs that ensure products comply with laws, regulations, and external commitments.
- Experience engaging with law enforcement and authorities for criminal referrals.
- Experience working with technology companies and ability to understand complex technical issues.
- Experience with working with public company boards and their counsel, including special committees and audit committees.
- Experience with managing projects and partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to be action-oriented and seek to meet the highest standards of integrity. Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, analytical, and investigative skills.

As an Investigations Counsel you will join a Global team that addresses the emerging risks pertaining to how we manage, support, and respond to our workforce. You will work closely with Global Affairs, People Operations, Communications, Engineering, and other Investigation teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $224,000-$319,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage internal investigations into allegations of potential legal, regulatory, or policy violations related to business ethics, financial integrity, workforce conduct, or insider data security incidents.
- Provide legal advice on risk internal investigations and data security incidents.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to address legal and regulatory investigations.
