About the Job
A recognized services company in DC is looking to add a new Inventory Specialist to their growing staff.
Responsibilities:
The Inventory Specialist will:
- Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist.
- Manage the flow of goods and services from suppliers to customers.
- Possess strong understanding of logistics systems and processes, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Manage and monitor the flow of orders and services from suppliers to customers.
- Monitor and report on supply chain performance metrics, such as on-time delivery.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy of records.
- Process customer orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must pass background investigation to obtain Public Trust.
- High School Diploma.
- 5+ years previous experience in Supply Chain and coordination.
- Extensive application support experience with Microsoft Office.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
