Job Description:
This dynamic position will support our Logistics team with Inventory Control, Shipping and Receiving activities.
Daily tasks will include: order pulling, processing, stocking inventory, maintaining records, email communication, prepping shipments, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to both internal departments and external customer locations.
Responsibilities:
· Order Shipping, Receiving, Processing and Distribution
· Perform inventory counts, order pulls and equipment allocations
· Update accounting systems, spreadsheets and physical records
· Ensure orders are filled accurately and in a timely manner
· Communicate with vendors, clients and team members
· Package product to ensure safety in transit
· Monitor supplies and make purchasing recommendations
· Use warehouse technology to locate, pull and prep goods
· Develop working knowledge of proper shipping practices
· Make local deliveries and pickups when required
· Maintain physical condition of warehouse
· Troubleshoot and work to resolve issues as they arise
· Work with logistics team on any action items that require attention
Qualifications:
· High school diploma
· Great attention to detail
· Strong communication skills
· 2+ years of inventory experience (preferred but not required)
· Strong organizational skills
· Demonstrated professionalism
· Valid CA driver's license
· Proficiency using a PC
· Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
· Ability to operate a forklift
· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
· Familiarity with Audio & Video equipment (preferred but not required)
· Solutions oriented
· Experience with accounting systems
