A client in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dedicated Telecommunications Supply Specialist to join their team. This role involves planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing the inventory of telecommunications system parts, equipment, and supplies to ensure optimal stocking levels for the client’s repair and maintenance operations. This position operates within a typical stock room environment, requiring meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage inventory effectively.
Required Skills & Experience
- Background or entry level knowledge within Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering
- Experience working within inventory management (ex: maintaining detailed records of inventory, order and stock parts required, track and confirm orders to ensure timely delivery, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and maintain inventory levels for telecommunications parts and equipment, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly stocked.
• Handle RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) and warranty claims, process paperwork for ordering and replacing parts, and ensure timely receipt of items.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify inventory against computerized records, and ensure accuracy in inventory management systems.
• Work closely with field technicians to ensure they have the necessary parts and equipment for their tasks.
• Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including parts received, issued, and returned.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations, including OSHA standards for handling hazardous materials.
Compensation
$20/hr to $25/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
