What You'll Do:
- Manage and maintain pharmaceutical inventory, ensuring efficient restocking, movement, and accurate tracking of supplies.
- Operate advanced pharmacy automation equipment, including Autofill devices, Baker Cells, and electronic scales.
- Handle and organize medications, ensuring they are correctly stored and meet safety standards (including checking expiration dates).
- Compile and maintain records, identify supply types, and assist with reordering revolving stock.
- Work with computer screens, scanners, and NDC numbers to ensure precise medication selection.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: High School Diploma (HS) or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Skills: Basic math, typing, and PC skills are essential.
- Physical Ability: You’ll need to lift up to 50 lbs, push or pull up to 150 lbs using carts or pallet jacks, and work on your feet for long periods (8-10 hours).
- Language: Must be fluent in English as required under U.S.C. 7402(d) and 7407(d).
What You Will Be Responsible For:
- Performs tasks related to the movement, restocking and accounting of items stored in various locations. Responsibilities can include compiling and maintaining records, identifying types of supplies, and suggesting re-order points for revolving stock.
- Maintains inventories of drugs and supplies, stocking shelves, rotating stock, and checking expiration date of pharmaceuticals
- Fills/stocks medications in various automated devices and storage locations
- Operates various types of pharmacy automation, including, but not limited to, Autofill devices; Baker Cells; Kalish cells, A-frames; repackaging equipment; electronic scales.
- Read computer screens, use scanning equipment, select specific drugs/products required to fill an order by name, strength, and National Drug Code (NDC) number.
