Job Summary
We are seeking a fulltime Inventory Specialist. The hired employee will be responsible for ensuring inventory count is up-to-date, logging all inventory into the ERP software program, and ensuring that quantities of products, materials, and supplies are maintained at all times. This also includes tracking inventory movements, and coordinating with other departments to ensure inventory is received, stored, and shipped in a timely manner. Additionally, the hired employee will help with the transportation, loading, and unloading of parts between two facilities. This position is open to candidates ranging from entry-level to experienced candidates.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits
- Collaborate with purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure inventory is available for production
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss and maximize efficiency
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and work with appropriate teams to prevent future occurrences
- Assist in the development of inventory reports and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Communicate inventory status and issues to management and other relevant stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements related to inventory management
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in inventory management
- Ability to work with computerized inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Clean driving record
- Eligible to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Experience working with CostPoint
- Aerospace background preferred

- 2+ years inventory experience
- Salary determined by experience
Education:
- GED or equivalent
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Full time
