JOB SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for inventory control, job order material usage reconciliation, job closings, and inventory reconciliation. The individual in this role will coordinate with purchasing and production to ensure the inventory is accurate and appropriate to meet demands. This role will perform duties within the production and inventory control department as required.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Select, pull, kit, and issue materials to assigned jobs physically and in ERP system.
• Fulfill material requests made production or engineering staff.
• Return materials from completed jobs physically and in ERP system.
• Confirm all labeling and quantities for accuracy inbound and outbound of Inventory Control.
• Ensure First in First Out and alpha-numeric storage mechanisms are maintained.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory as required.
• Communicate any material shortages or low inventory levels to appropriate departments as needed.
• Maintain and monitor manual or computerized inventory control system for components & consumables.
• Investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with packing & shipping when requested.
• Maintain adherence to Cleanroom protocols while performing job functions when appropriate.
• Establish and maintain a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Represent the department in a positive and professional manner.
• Reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Complies with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
- No experience required, 1 year manufacturing, shipping or material handling experience preferred.
- Must be able to frequently lift to 15 pounds and/or move and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Must be familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Material Resource Planning (MRP), or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) programs and tools.
- Strong problem solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
- Strong command of the English language (speak, read, & write) with good communication skills.
- Ability to interact with internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification (as needed by location)
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
