Job Description
This position leads a team that is responsible for the planning and procurement of approximately $200M of annual spend of components used in the Service and Repair Operations in the Americas. This Hands-on leadership position is critical to ensure we achieve the expectations for turnaround time from our customers, for inventory turns from our finance and operations teams, and part availability for our production teams among other critical initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with key business functions such as warehouse, repair production, service marketing, engineering and finance.
Job Duties
+ Manage inventory purchasing (replenishment) activities to ensure timely availability of parts; development & maintenance of material master forecasting MRP data set; and daily creation of purchase requisitions & purchase orders. As well as oversee master scheduling activities for subassembly orders.
+ Identify, develop and implement processes & procedures to support department to reach goals and objectives. Develop and implement improvements to existing operational processes and standards.
+ Plan and manage the activities of department staff.
+ Provide guidance & educational development opportunities to help meet department needs.
+ Development of Business Plan for Parts Purchasing. Develop and analyze parts consumption, repair volume history reports and identify trends.
+ Develop Purchasing Inventory and Sales (PSI) Excel spreadsheet to demonstrate plan, as needed.
+ Develop and maintain short- and long-term demand forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly) using historical data, market trends, and input from sales, marketing, and product teams.
+ Formulate Days-on-Hand inventory targets from Business Plan that are attainable against performance goals. Identifying inventory values based on spare parts NS-units or Sub-units.
+ Oversee activities related to material master update in the ERP system. Involvement in NPI/ NRI process through change order activity initiated by Engineering. Maintain product information database in ERP system material master, including but not limited to updating all coding based on product information provided by Product Managers to link part inventory to model family.
+ Coordinate transition of discontinued product lines while planning for new product lines. Depleting of old stock through analysis of Excess & Obsolete reports for items with no activity. Work with Product Managers & Marketing Depts. for sales & service transition strategy.
+ Execute purchase orders to return claims for non-conforming inventory for reimbursement.
+ Lead or participate in projects to reach short-term goals to improve the processes of the overall repair operations.
+ Coordinate the standardization and enhancement of operational goals.
+ Prepare weekly and monthly reports to demonstrate state of the repair business outlining repairs by labor code, product types, or product models inclusive of the inventory position at month end; on hand, total spend by Supplier; by product type, etc.
+ Communicate effectively with suppliers so they are able to support changes in demand mix and quantities. Participate in cross functional business plan review meetings to align parts demand forecast with repair volume forecast.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree with business concentration required, preferably Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field, or the equivalent in related years of experience.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related field.
+ Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in demand planning or related role.
Preferred:
+ Management, Supply Chain, or related field, or the equivalent in related years of experience.
+ APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management preferred.
+ Experience with advanced demand planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or others).
+ Experience in a Service and Repair operation preferred.
+ Effectively lead, coach and develop direct staff.
+ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively, verbally and writte. Strong presentation skills.
+ Ability to develop strong and effective working relationships and work cross functionally.
+ Effective problem solving and analytical skills.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office(Excel, Word, Power Point).

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $108,291.00 - $151,607.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
