Inventory/Material Handler Coordinator - Finish Line Staffing Services

Our client, a provider of asset management, has an immediate opening for an Inventory/Material Handler Coordinator. This role will receive, QC, and ship product and equipment, and maintain inventory control and records.Responsibilities:

• Receive and unload freight from carriers either manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Check for damaged goods
• Verify quantity and quality of orders
• Verify items received with purchase order
• Wrap, package, and ship materials
• Deliver and retrieve supplies to and from work or storage areas
• May maintain equipment and vehicles
• Verify product part numbers, quantities, date codes, condition, and other industry-specific requirements (ESD requirements, ROHS compliance)
• Research part information using various resources for part descriptions, industry pricing, and other pertinent information
• Record information on receiving tickets and input data into receiving file using Microsoft Excel
• Compare received product to packing slips/invoices and note any discrepancies
• Repackage product for proper storage in inventory

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience working as a material handler
• Experience counting, handling, storing, and shipping materials or supplies
• Experience operating material handling equipment
• Experience accessing information on a computer and using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word and Excel)
• Experience reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness
• Good math skills
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and have good communication skills
• The ideal candidate will have experience identifying electronic components such as integrated circuits, semiconductors, capacitors, resistors, diodes, and other similar products
• Willingness to bend, stoop, lift, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to focus on and perform multiple tasks in a given day
• Ability to handle and package sensitive materials
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Must be willing to be a team player
• Shift: 1st shift (8:30 to 5:00 Monday-Friday). There is flexibility with hours if needed.
