Job Description
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to generate accurate supply plans
- Identify supply planning actions needed to support forecasted demand
- Analyze supply planning issues for assigned portfolio
- Oversee a supply plan, analyze reporting discrepancies, and assess supply chain risk
- Analyze supply performance to ensure adherence to policy, guidance, and mission objectives
- Monitor excess inventory and consumption plans
- Participate in recurring meetings with weapon system teams to support weapon system sustainment strategy
- Keep management informed of supply status o assigned programs
Qualifications
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DoD Certain Competitive Service Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02). Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Developing supply plans to ensure inventory levels meet demand; 2) Performing supply chain planning within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Systems Applications and Products (SAP); and 3) Utilizing data analytics to identify complex inventory management or supply planning issues. Applicants must meet basic eligibility requirements such as minimum qualifications, and other regulatory requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
Compensation:
$99,200-$153,354 per year
