Inventory Lead, Plumbing

We invite full-time Inventory specialists to join our warehouse team in Union, NJ.

If you don't know much about the trades - that's okay too!

We're open to folks who are analytical and good with technology (i.e. Excel, databases, etc.)

Bonus points if you know about parts in the home services space, with a focus on plumbing, electrical or HVAC.

Compensation for this position will be between $17-23 per hour, plus benefits. We are willing to extend this range for candidates with direct industry experience, particularly those with procurement or purchasing backgrounds.

• You are a savvy negotiator. We can count on you to negotiate prices and keep our job-costing operations in line.

If you're more experienced, we would expect:

• You've negotiated discounts on bulk purchases from suppliers and maintained accurate inventory in tools like ServiceTitan or Titanium.
• You understand the operations involved in job costing and can help minimize overspending while keeping your data organized. 

What Will You Do?

You'll be the main point of contact for all of our technicians' parts needs, across all departments. 

You will establish great relationships with our vendors and supply houses, ensuring we get great deals and priority shipping. 

You will need to ensure everyone is held accountable to the buying process and that no shortcuts are taken (for example, you shouldn't be doing the research on behalf of technicians).

Physical Demands/Working Conditions - All Trades and Warehouse Departments

To perform the duties of this job, you are regularly expected to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop hands to finger, handle controls, hear, and talk. You must be able to reach with your hands and arms, climb ladders, and work in a hot/cold warehouse. You will regularly lift 20+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
