Inventory Clerk- Fabrication Department - General Technologies, Inc.

About the Job
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for the inventory control of items maintained in the fabrication shop and maintains the area in a neat and orderly fashion to make sure that company property is clean and well-maintained.
Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):
- Enter data from documents into ERP system from files and documents including but not limited to Excel, Word, PDF, etc.
- Sort and identify products based on visual product description and/or SKU and enter data into system based on criteria
- Check completed work for accuracy
- Requisition stock to replenish inventory
- In charge of sending inventory list daily
- Receive, unpack, inspect, measure, make sure they meet print specifications and store incoming tools and/or equipment
- Conducts cycle counts of inventory to limit or correct any discrepancies or deficiencies
- Issue parts to warehouse according to pick sheet from sales department
- Additional functions as delegated
Requirements:
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledgeable with Excel and creating spreadsheets
- Ability to maintain a conversation with suppliers by phone or face to face
- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina and strength
- Must be flexible; able to work extended hours and weekends when required
- Must be able to read and write
- High school diploma is preferred but not required
