PRIMARY PURPOSE (Summary of major reasons this job exists)
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for inventory management and distribution of warehouse materials. This individual works with all technicians to ensure the availability of appropriate equipment and inventory levels.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Majority of duties performed, but not to be all-inclusive or to prevent other duties from being assigned)
1. Distribute all inventory materials to field technicians every morning at start of shift.
2. Perform cycle counts in both vans and warehouse space.
3. Perform preventative maintenance on all vans (complete one per day on a monthly cycle).
4. Input inventory records into the software database.
5. Responsible for warehouse organization to ensure all materials are easily accessible.
6. Provide inventory reports to management as needed.
7. Assist with month-end inventory close to include reconciling and auditing of inventory.
8. Perform administrative duties as appropriate.
9. Manage supplied inventory materials and company issued equipment.
10. Conduct work in compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Experience, education, knowledge, skills & abilities required for competent performance in the job)
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. 2 years of inventory control/warehouse experience preferred.
3. Strong organizational, problem solving and prioritization skills necessary.
4. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, in speech and writing, with customers, staff, managers, supervisors, contractors and clients.
5. Capability to lift/move physical inventory up to 60 pounds.
6. Resourcefulness to meet deadlines and flexibility with fluctuating priorities.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Perform the essential functions and physical demands of the position with or without accommodation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (The physical demands of the job)
1. Consistently spending time sitting, typing, talking, walking and using repetitive motion.
2. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of automated office machinery, such as a computer.
3. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.
4. Visual capacity enabling frequent use of computer equipment.
5. Medium work: ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

1. The employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
