Key Responsibilities:
" Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular analysis to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
" Place orders with suppliers to replenish inventory based on demand forecasts and sales trends.
" Ensure accuracy of inventory records through cycle counts, reconciliations, and investigations into discrepancies.
" Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, sales, and production departments to align inventory levels with operational needs.
" Maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
" Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, process orders, and generate reports.
" Inspect incoming inventory for quality and accuracy, and coordinate returns or exchanges as needed.
" Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance inventory management efficiency.
" Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal inventory control protocols.
" Resolve issues related to stock shortages, discrepancies, or delays in delivery in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
" Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
" Proven experience in inventory management or related field.
" Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
" Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
" Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
" Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
" Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
" Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
" Knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices.
