Educational Requirements:
- Possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or GEDÂ
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and approve cycle counts.
- Conduct audits on receiving processes.
- Implement and optimize inventory control procedures.
- Audit order pickers and pullers to ensure adherence to procedures.
- Perform audits on offsite vendors where inventory is held.
- Maintain accuracy in cycle count processes.
- Discuss inventory issues with Inventory Manager.
- Conduct regular shop floor walk-throughs to identify misplaced inventory.
- Oversee consolidation of offsite warehouses into a central location.
- Resolve overages, shortages, and damaged inventory.
- Assist in resolving shipping errors.
- Manage corporate SOX inventory controls.
- Act as primary contact for import/export and international matters.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
- Maintain and organize import/export documentation.
- Coordinate with Forwarders/Brokers for instructions.
- Conduct internal self-audits to ensure compliance.
- Stay informed about trade legislation and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in inventory management or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations is a plus.
