Job Description

Functions under the direction of the Inventory Control Manager. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, handling all aspects of inventory control, such as product discrepancy identification, data entry, reconciliation, along with receiving, shipping, supply replenishment, selecting operations and all related tasks concerning DCIs Inventory. Inventory Control Specialist will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately and efficiently performing in the Warehouse Management System (Tecsys), identifying, tracking and resolving daily inventory discrepancies while executing transparency in result reporting. Inventory Control Specialist will work independently resolving product conflicts while ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and timely to all DCIs customers, including PackRoom. Inventory Control Specialist should demonstrate positive interaction with staff and display professional conduct at all times.

Required Experience:

• Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  Operation of electrical equipment (Cherry picker and/or Reach Truck), dollies, and other various warehouse equipment is required. Must be in good physical condition. Heavy lifting required (50 - 75 pounds). Frequent walking, sitting, bending, pulling and standing required. Limited exposure to bio-hazardous substances. Works indoors and outdoors.

  Job Qualifications

  Education: High School Graduate, Associates Degree preferred

  Experience: At least two (2) years in a warehouse/distribution environment preferred. Inventory skills in an automated warehousing, receiving, shipping, selecting and inventory environment is required.

  Other: Must have basic personal computer skills MS Office Suite, basic WMS skills
