We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Kits Inventory Operator to maintain the perpetual inventory of all outage parts kits. This role involves managing both incoming and outgoing parts kit inventories, providing recommended parts order lists, and ensuring the organization and proper maintenance of parts kits. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and adherence to safety and quality processes to support internal and external customers.
- Maintain organization of outage parts kits and ensure efficient inventory management.
- Periodically review and update parts kit inventory.
- Communicate order fulfillment requirements for parts kits.
- Follow safety procedures during inventory management and parts stocking.
- Apply quality control measures to ensure accuracy in parts kit inventory.
- Perform physical inventory checks of parts kits upon return from outages and restock with replenishment parts for the next outage.
- Provide feedback to inventory management regarding process improvements.
- Operate forklifts safely and in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate the transportation of parts kits to plant sites.
- Look for ways to streamline parts kit replenishment processes and improve efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Report unsafe activities to management.
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental and company goals by participating in proactive team efforts.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication with all team members.
- Protect confidential information and maintain the highest degree of integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work areas.
- Education & Experience:
- Technical or manufacturing certificate from a college or technical school, or at least three years of related experience in warehouse, supply chain, or parts management.
- Forklift operator experience is a plus.
- Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Strong mathematical skills, including basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve problems with common-sense understanding and work in standardized situations.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, talk, and hear regularly.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals and loud work environments may be possible.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, including hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and passport in good standing.
- High degree of honesty and integrity in all work-related activities.
