Inventory Control Specialist

Shift/Hours:  Monday - Friday, First Shift, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Pay Rate:  $18/hr

Inventory Control Specialist Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate inventory records for all ceramic supplies and products
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system data
• Monitor stock levels and initiate reorder processes when necessary
• Collaborate with purchasing department to optimize order quantities and timing
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices
• Assist in forecasting future inventory needs based on sales trends and seasonality
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and organization of inventory
• Generate regular inventory reports for management review
• Participate in cycle counting programs to maintain inventory accuracy
• Assist in annual inventory audits and work with external auditors as needed
• Stay updated on industry trends and suggest improvements to inventory management practices

Inventory Control Specialist Requirements :
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management abilities
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of ceramic materials and products is beneficial but not required
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
• 1+ years of experience in inventory control or related role

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $18.00 Per Hour
