What You'll Do
Inventory Control Specialists are responsible for completing the following tasks:
- Auditing and maintaining physical accuracy of the inventory through cycle counting.
- Researching can’t fill from daily reporting, and cycle counting merchandise to maintain correct inventory levels.
- Assisting Facility with problem merchandise
- Management of Inventory between the warehouse and the photo studios
- Performing physical counts of merchandise and making system corrections based on findings.
- Using system-generated reports for the counting of inventory.
- Reconciling variances as they are found and communicating findings to the supervisor.
- Perform basic math and interpret both written and verbal instructions correctly.
- Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
- Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
- Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
What You Bring
- MS Office Suite (specifically Excel)
- Accounting/Finance background a plus
- Previous distribution experience
- Sound decision-making ability
- Effective and professional communication ability, written and verbal
Essential Physical Requirements
- May require pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling, and/or lifting up to 50lbs in a warehouse environment.
- Standing or walking will be required for the duration of shift. (excluding breaks/lunch)
