Job Description and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs):
GA Telesis is seeking a high energy, self-motivated Inventory Control Coordinator to join our well-known Inventory Control Team.
Additional daily tasks are as follows:
- Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and parts within the warehouse, picking of parts in the stockroom and warehouse
- Resolves discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records by tracing the history of the item.
- Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
- Pulls inventory for Sales Order processing and transfers to new locations
- Pulls inventory for Engine Builds and issues to assigned work order
- Pulls inventory for Repair Order processing
- Performs adjustments in Quantum on a daily basis.
- Examine and inspect outgoing material for correct P/N and S/N
- Assembling customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department
- Receives, transfers and stocks incoming material to its proper location in Quantum
- Organize the stockroom and material to be pulled for Sales Orders and Repair Orders
- Handles and notifies the Sales Department of discrepancies found while processing order
- Work with outgoing Quality Inspectors to resolve quantity and traceability issues on orders
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on a daily basis
- Customer service for both the Sales Department and outgoing Quality Inspection in resolving order conflicts.
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of similar experience

- Ability to network across the company effectively and maintain good working relationship with all departments and employees
- Desire to work in a small firm environment, which requires a broad range of skills
- Ability to move and handle merchandise throughout building generally weighing 0 to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to freely access all areas of building
- Ability to climb a ladder
- Proficient with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
