Position Overview: The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining precise inventory records and ensuring proper storage, organization, and accountability of stock. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to guarantee inventory accuracy and availability, meeting customer needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track inventory levels to ensure a steady supply of materials, parts, and consumables, enabling prompt distribution.
- Perform routine cycle counts across all facilities, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Conduct quality inspections on stored inventory to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Investigate and correct inventory inaccuracies, pinpointing root causes of discrepancies.
- Assist in generating timely inventory reports and any other required documentation.
- Provide recommendations for improving warehouse space efficiency, including pallet consolidation and racking enhancements.
- Contribute to company growth by supporting the rollout and implementation of new systems.
- Minimize excess stock and remove outdated materials to optimize product throughput.
- Input data for new products and adjustments to pricing.
- Ensure accurate receipt and management of incoming products in line with company procedures.
- Maintain detailed procedural documentation for all inventory control tasks.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Highly attentive to detail with strong follow-up abilities.
- Excellent skills in analysis and problem-solving.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, capable of creating, formatting, and editing various calculations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple platforms.

- Skilled at managing multiple tasks and working under pressure in a distribution environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree.
- 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in inventory management.
- Comprehensive understanding of inventory control methods and systems.
- Proficient in using ERP systems.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and edit formulas and analyze data.
Salary
50,000 - 55,000 /year
