About the Job
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
To oversee the cycle count program in Rockland and Weymouth. Ensure all inventory transactions are processed in a timely manner consistent with policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate, instruct and check cycle counters and stock selectors as to schedules, methods, standards of performance, safety precautions, rules and regulations and other matters affecting the processing inventory transactions.
- Oversee the cycle count program, follow-up on variances.
- Resolve problems relating to issues, receipt, locations, shipments, and workflow, and iniate and/or suggest corrective action.
- Conduct audits of shipping and packaging areas and functions.
- Assign stock locations.
- Monthly WIP Cycle Count Testing for Accounting in both locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as may be necessary.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive truck as required.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a level of knowledge that is usually associate with a High School diploma plus one to three years of related experience. Ability to use forklift truck, must have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license to drive the company truck and compute experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Required to sit, stand, bend and lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Combination of Manufacturing and Office environment
- Regular exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold and odors
