Job Title: Inventory Control Analyst/Supply Planner
Location: Elk Grove CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months contract with possible of extension
Pay Rate: $29-34/hr on W2 + Mindsource benefits
Description
The Inventory Analyst actively works with cross-functional partners and Retail Store associates to ensure accuracy of in store inventory to support sales, replenishment, and fulfillment programs. Manage daily cycle count process as well as ad-hoc escalations, investigating and executing complex inventory variances to ensure financial accounting integrity. Manages exceptions daily; react as needed to ensure correct product availability to storefront. Research and transact with high quality in a high velocity environment. Ability to handle ambiguity, apply learned business processes to dynamically changing escalations. Manage inventory during product transitions to support launch activities ensuring an exciting Retail store experience for our customers.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
2+ years of experience in inventory management or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and other inventory management software
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks
Think strategically and execute tactically with precision
Education
A bachelor’s degree in a field such as business, economics, statistics, or supply chain management is preferred.
Additional Requirements
Prior experience in inventory management, Inventory Certification in operations is a plus.
Has a persistent attention to detail, and a high level of proficiency in working with numbers.
