Job Description: Inventory Control Specialist
Position Summary:
This position controls inventory of finished goods needed to fulfill forecasted sales and scheduled distribution plans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors and updates schedule to reflect inventory turnover, stocking decisions, forecasting and administrative controls.
Analyzes inventory levels, production speed, product demand, and shipment schedules to help guide on reordering levels for product availability.
Supports with inventory system.
Works with the Material Handlers in supporting the operations on-time efforts.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to complete heavy work assignments while remaining detailed oriented.
Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and can work in a face paced environment.
Must have a flexible schedule to be able to work overtime as required.
Must be able to communicate, in English effectively both in written and verbal form.
Knowledgeable with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Agile, or any other ERP system) a plus.
Ability to lift at 40lbs and have ability to constantly be standing for at least 6-8 hours during the day.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience required: 3-5 years of previous materials experience or applicable experience required.
