SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Warehouse Inventory and Customer Support Specialist for a large, well-known client in Fort Worth, TX. As a Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:
- Shipping & Receiving
- Quality Assurance
- Inventory Control
- Track, maintain, and update inventory records to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits to monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely restocking, order fulfillment, and storage optimization.
- Identify and report any inventory issues, shortages, or quality concerns
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding inventory status, order updates, and delivery timelines.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Provide proactive communication with customers on order status, delays, and any necessary updates.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions for future reference.
- Assist with order entry, verification, and tracking in the warehouse management system.
- Ensure orders are accurately prepared, packed, and labeled according to customer specifications.
- Collaborate with logistics and shipping teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve inventory and customer support processes.
- Contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training documentation for efficient operations.
- Assist in implementing new software tools or systems as required for improved tracking and reporting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or customer support, preferably in a warehouse environment.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interactions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities.
