MTM Staffing, brought to you by Southcoast Physician’s Group, is now hiring experienced Interventional Radiology Technologists for our in-house traveler team!
- 11-13 Week Assignment, with option to extend for 2 additional 13 week assignment if available
- $80/hr
- Health Insurance and 403B retirement plan eligible
Position Assignment Details:
- Hours: Full Time or Part Time
- Shifts: Day Shift with weeknight, weekend and holiday on-call rotation.
- Area Assignment: Interventional Radiology, St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA
*During assignment, may be asked to float to Charlton Memorial Hospital as needed*

Responsibilities:Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Interventional Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within assigned modality as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patient's chart and document all data within the EHR. Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/ parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self and others and aware of MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures.
Qualifications:- Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
- Post-primary certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography and ACLS is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of one year of IR experience.
- Ability to efficiently float to other like-units for patient assignments is required.
