Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician
Location: 1200 South Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown, PA 18103
Duration: 13 Weeks contract with possible extensions
Shift: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours in a week

Job Description/Duties:

Performs sterile diagnostic, radiographic (IR), embolic, therapeutic procedures, and non-vascular interventional radiographic procedures and administers contrast agents at a technical level.
Recognizes and responds to changes in patient condition that could lead to serious complications and provides immediate interventions, as required.
Operates and manages complex medical equipment and assists physicians in the management of the patient.
Takes call as rotated/assigned and responds (in hospital) as designated by the On-Call Radiology policy.
Provides safe care and processing of patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric.
Works in a hospital facility that offers full hospital services.
Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients encompassing emergency, inpatient and outpatient classes supporting up to and including trauma and ICU.

ON CALL: 1 day per week (Mon - Thu) 5:30p-7a, every 4th weekend Fri 5:30p-Mon 7a

Experience Required:

1+ year of experience in Interventional Radiology including Neuro Interventional Experience.

Certifications Required:

BLS-AHA
ARRT
