About the Job
Reading Hospital is seeking a collaborative and motivated Interventional Radiologist to join our team to replace a retiring physician. We are a cohesive group dedicated to high quality personalized patient care, continuous quality improvement, and mentorship.
Highlights:
- We are an employed group of eight providers (5 physicians and 3 physician assistants).
- Our group treats the breadth of IR including but not limited to: interventional oncology, portal hypertension, spinal augmentation, venous disease, pain management, women’s health, trauma and dialysis access management.
- 100% IR except interpreting follow up imaging for our patients.
- Consult and rounding service managed by our PAs.
- Department has two dedicated single plane angiography suites, one biplane, CT scanner, and two suites for ultrasound guided procedures.
- Complete support staff team:
- 14 technicians
- 13 registered nurses
- 2 scheduling coordinators
- 1 office manager
- Dedicated 12 bed recovery room for IR.
- Dedicated space for outpatient consults and follow-ups.

Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Interventional Radiology fellowship/residency.
- Valid medical license in the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
