Role Overview: The Internet Sales Manager is responsible for driving online sales initiatives, enhancing the digital customer experience, and fostering customer loyalty through innovative strategies.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the Centre Manager to enhance the online presence of our retail facilities, ensuring alignment with advertising campaigns and customer engagement strategies.
· Develop and implement annual sales goals for the internet sales team as part of the overall business plan, regularly monitoring online sales performance and adjusting strategies as needed.
· Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing internet sales team, instilling a customer-centric culture that emphasizes enthusiasm and engagement.
· Analyze market variables such as supply, demand, pricing, and competition to inform strategic decisions that align with the business plan.
· Manage online vehicle inventory, working closely with the General Manager to ensure accurate listings and timely updates based on market trends.
· Oversee the appraisal and evaluation of trade-ins, ensuring competitive pricing that reflects both local and national market conditions.
· Strategically decide which traded vehicles will be listed online for sale and which will be sent to auction or wholesaled.
· Ensure that all vehicles are accurately represented online, including high-quality images and detailed descriptions that meet customer expectations.
· Stay informed on finance programs and integrate them into the online sales process, assisting team members in structuring deals that maximize customer satisfaction.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to align inventory with promotional campaigns, providing feedback to optimize marketing efforts.
Requirements:
· Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, exceeding their expectations in an online environment.
· Strong leadership skills, with experience in training and motivating a sales team.
· Proficient in conducting sales analysis to assess performance against goals and implement strategies for improvement.
· Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and online sales platforms.
· Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying product knowledge and promotional information to the sales team effectively.
· Familiarity with e-commerce practices, including the management of online vehicle listings and inventory.
· Ability to purchase and sell vehicles through various channels, including auctions and wholesalers.
· Strong organizational and planning skills, with a focus on maximizing team performance and achieving sales objectives.
