Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in DC.
• Class year 2019-2021 with substantive experience working with M&A and private equity.
• Demonstrated expertise with CFIUS, sanctions, and export controls.
• Experience or interest in anti-bribery and anti-money laundering compliance is highly valued.
• Exceptional legal writing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on compliance with international trade and national security regulations, including CFIUS, sanctions, and export controls.
• Counsel clients on anti-bribery and anti-money laundering measures, including preventive and remedial strategies to ensure compliance.
• Provide guidance on investigative procedures and work with clients to resolve regulatory breaches.
• Draft, review, and analyze legal documents related to international trade and national security matters.
• Collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys to deliver innovative solutions in high-stakes regulatory environments.
