International Tax Manager - BlueSky Resource Solutions

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee the preparation of international components for the quarterly tax accounting provision, including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, FTC, APB 23, earnings & profits analysis, and foreign and withholding tax considerations.
• Prepare and submit U.S. international tax returns, such as Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, 8975, 8991, 8992, 8993, and 1118, along with the necessary elections and statements.
• Assist the U.S. domestic tax team in preparing Federal and State tax returns.
• Collaborate with the global tax team on transfer pricing documentation and studies.
• Work closely with the global tax team to reconcile income tax accounts across international tax ledgers and provide necessary support for deferred tax balances.
• Stay informed on current and emerging tax legislation, providing management with insights on compliance and provision impacts.
• Analyze U.S. and foreign transactions to determine applicable U.S. federal income tax, and prepare technical memos to support and substantiate tax positions.
• Identify tax-saving strategies and opportunities for process improvement; implement best practice changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of U.S. International Tax experience within a multinational corporation or public accounting firm
• Expertise in OneSource products (OIT required; OTP preferred)
• Strong research skills for interpreting complex tax regulations to ensure proper tax treatment
• Proven ability to manage deadlines, handle multiple tasks efficiently, and take ownership of projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and comfort in a dynamic environment
• High level of attention to detail, with strong ethics and integrity
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities, capable of driving and managing projects
• Ability to manage confidential information with the utmost discretion
