We are seeking an astute and dynamic International Tax Manager to join our global finance team. The candidate will be responsible for managing the international tax strategy and compliance across all international jurisdictions where our business operates. This role will require a deep understanding of international tax laws and regulations, as well as the ability to navigate complex tax scenarios in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must have experience with FBAR, EB-5, OVDP, Foreign Bank, and Offshore voluntary disclosure or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary international jurisdictions.
2. Oversee and streamline international tax compliance and reporting processes.
3. Provide expert advice on tax implications of business decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, and new market entries.
4. Manage and coordinate tax audits and inquiries by various taxation authorities.
5. Review current and deferred tax provision calculations for international entities.
6. Research and analyze changes in tax law and translate the impacts into actionable strategies.
7. Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely tax payments.
8. Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team.
9. Lead and coordinate ad-hoc tax-driven business initiatives locally and cross-border.
10. Provide leadership and support to junior staff, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a CPA certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in international tax, including experience with FBAR, EB-5, OVDP, Foreign Bank, and Offshore voluntary disclosure.
3. Strong understanding of U.S. international tax provisions.
4. Proficient in tax compliance software.
5. Excellent research and writing skills.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and timelines.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex tax information to non-tax professionals.
8. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing staff.
9. Adept at working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
