Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage international shipments via air, sea, and land routes.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements of origin and destination countries.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize transportation costs.
- Prepare and manage shipping documents, including invoices, bills of lading, and export/import documentation.
- Track and monitor the progress of shipments, providing updates to relevant stakeholders and addressing any delays or issues that arise.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the logistics operation.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.
?Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in international logistics coordination or related roles. Degree in supply chain management, logistics, chain management, or related field is a big plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders across different regions and cultures.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions..
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems for tracking shipments and managing inventory.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 Per Year
