Position Summary:
The Sales Account Executive is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with assigned customers while meeting sales and revenue targets. Reporting to the local Branch Manager, the role focuses on retaining existing business, expanding market share, promoting new products and services, and developing new relationships within the territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Retention & Growth:
- Maintain customer volume, sales, and profitability by managing relationships with assigned customers.
- Expand relationships by selling additional products/services, identifying new stakeholders, and engaging additional customer locations.
- Introduce and support the full suite of the company's products and services.
- Business Development:
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of new opportunities to increase market share in the territory.
- Lead joint customer planning efforts for assigned accounts and support the sales process in developing and delivering solutions.
- Customer Satisfaction & Service:
- Proactively monitor customer satisfaction and service delivery, recommending process improvements to enhance customer experience.
- Manage customer transitions from the Business Development Group and lead Quarterly Business Reviews in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Sales Administration:
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of pricing, RFP responses, and bids for assigned customers.
- Create, manage, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned customers.
- Travel to branch offices, customer locations, and assigned clients as needed to accomplish objectives.
Accountabilities & Performance Measures:
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue budgets.
- Meet customer retention and growth targets.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings in line with company standards.
- Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
Alignment & Collaboration:
- Reports to the local Branch Manager.
- Collaborates with sales specialists, implementation teams, and customer service resources to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
- No direct reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of freight forwarding sales experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and grow customer relationships.

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
