Summary:
The International Account Managers Goals are to contribute in sustaining and growing Barco Uniform’s International business to achieve long term growth and success. The Account Manager will be apt in building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of customers while assisting in customer penetration initiatives in assigned regions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Portfolio Management
Manage all international customer care needs in assigned regions: North America, Latin and South America, Middle East and Emerging Markets.
- Builds strong relationships and deals directly with customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction through own initiative within empowering guidelines.
- Efficiently manages order processing, product status and tracking.
- Professionally manages customer inquiries and requests via telephone, email or fax.
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
- Maintains financial account accuracy by processing customer credit adjustment requests when necessary.
- Maintain contact with assigned account base to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Generate, review and analyze excel sales reports relative to customer’s style/color purchase historical trends and helps with suggestive sales.
- Offers alternative recommendations for out of stock items.
- Informs customer of special deals and promotions.
- Opens customer accounts in collaboration with the Director of International Sales.
- Maintains customer Master File records including timely updating of all account information.
- Updates customer with account changes from reports generated by Management.
- Recommends potential improvements on product or service level to management by collecting customer information on an issue log.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.
New Business Development
- Manage and update International sales funnel in coordination in Sales Force with the Director of International Sales.
- As needed perform market research on prospective customers and opportunities within each assigned region. These will include developing industry and SWOT analysis on new market segments.
- Outreach to potential customers by email and cold calling.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Business a plus. 1-3 years of Customer Service or Account Executive experience is required. The candidate needs to be Multi-task oriented and possess the highest levels of communication, responsiveness and ownership.
Language Ability:
This position requires an individual who is Bi-Lingual both oral and written in English and Spanish.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office with specific focus on Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
