Job Title: Senior Manager, Internal Communications
Location: Wellesley, MA, 02481
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Communications
- Develop and implement internal communication programs that enhance awareness of the brand, initiatives, and product strategy within the team and the larger organization. Create a standardized narrative that aligns and connects communications across all levels.
- Content Creation
- Work with marketing and subject matter experts to translate complex topics into clear, engaging communications, including newsletters, executive updates, intranet content, and live events. Maintain a high quality of work and creative thinking to produce compelling content.
- Event and Meeting Management
- Lead communication strategies for key internal events, including monthly all-team meetings, Directors+ meetings, offsites, and leadership Q&As. Ensure agendas, follow-ups, and overall event execution align with strategic goals.
- Cultural Alignment
- Represent the culture and voice of the organization in all communications, and coach team members to reflect this tone. Foster an engaged and connected company culture through impactful communication.
- Project Management
- Oversee the planning and execution of communication initiatives, managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively. Collaborate with senior leaders, sales, product teams, and peers across a dynamic and diverse team to ensure communication clarity.
- Content Calendar Management
- Maintain a well-organized content calendar to keep internal communications timely, relevant, and aligned with team and business priorities.
Qualifications:
- Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in internal communications, ideally within a B2B or technology-focused company.
- Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to distill complex topics into clear, engaging messages.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
- Proven ability to create and execute effective communication strategies aligned with company goals and values.
- Excellent project management skills with keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including senior leaders and subject matter experts.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
