Watts Water Technologies is seeking an experienced professional to join our Internal Audit Department as the Internal Audit SOX Manager. Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit, you will lead the execution of our global internal controls program and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. We ask that you have experience in a large, multi-national, public manufacturing company that involves regular interaction with leadership, finance teams, and other corporate functions.
You Will:
Oversee planning, execution, and reporting of SOX compliance efforts, providing updates to management and the Audit Committee.
Prepare work papers and communicate audit findings to stakeholders.
Mentor and guide Internal Audit Staff, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve audit objectives.
Work with co-sourced audit partners to ensure audits are completed on time and follow established methodologies.
Partner with management to maintain up-to-date SOX documentation, including control matrices and process flowcharts.
Collaborate with process owners during SOX testing to ensure timely responses and resolutions.
Assess and communicate deficiencies, ensuring prompt remediation actions are taken.
Identify opportunities to enhance AuditBoard usage and improve efficiency across the organization.
You Have:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
7+ years of Audit/SOX experience, with knowledge of:
COSO framework
Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
PCAOB standards/guidance related to internal controls
Experience with SOX process improvements.
Proficiency using AuditBoard is a plus.
Multilingual skills are advantageous.
Up to 15% travel required.
Physical Requirements:

Work Environment:
Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
