Department: C&I Engineering Development Lab

Mentor's Title: Manager, Engineering

Start Date: Summer 2024

Anticipated Duration: Possible extension through the year

Work Schedule: Full time summer hours - 9am - 5pm

Responsible for assisting in various aspects of Development Lab including:

• Assist in testing and engineering evaluation as it relates to the R&D of Leviton products
• Responsible for research, designing and building test equipment
• Data collection and report writing

• Good hands on skills. Knowledge of basic hand tools
• Ability to assemble electrical and mechanical items
• Theoretical and practical engineering skills
• Basic CAD skills (preferably SolidWorks)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Must be enrolled and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Desired Major: Engineering
