Overview:

Department: Supply Chain- Sourcing

Reporting to: Senior Manager, Central Buying Team-Sourcing

Start Date: Summer 2024

Compensation: Paid

Responsibilities:

This position will work with the Sourcing team in support of several projects including:

• Categorize the mechanical spend component bucket by reviewing the prints and place them in logical sub-categories to better leverage the spend within the category
• Compare and organize the FG print descriptions in the system (PLION) versus what is on the print and what the supplier is shipping to assure future compliance and eliminate unneeded rework at the distribution centers
• Categorize screws and develop a library based upon attributes that will be created as fields within our Oracle system to enhance search functionality
• Assist with other tasks/projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Must have strong written and oral communication skills
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills Must be analytical and detail oriented Familiarity with MS Office

 

Education & Experience:

• Must be a student at the sophmore level or above currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business or Supply Chain

Salary Range:$16.00 -$22.00 per hour:#LI-AS1, #LI-Onsite
