About the Job
This intern will work alongside BMW development engineers on current and future vehicle infotainment technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support engineering team with testing and validation of functions and services including documentation and follow-up
- Review feature requirements and identify key areas for further development including My BMW App
- Participate in local test drives in support role of documentation and evaluation of system performance and reporting
- Experience with automotive grade infotainment systems and telecommunications dependencies
- Gain understanding of software lifecycle processes as it pertains to BMW processes

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $29.90.
The hourly rate for Graduate students is $36.80.
The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master's degree program at an accredited college or university
- Field of Study: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
- Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at time of application (Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript)
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Excellent time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in documentation and reporting. MS Office, Confluence, Wiki
- Advanced communication skills and strong capacity for teamwork
- High motivation for learning new technologies/processes in a dynamic working environment
- Ability to express technical knowledge in English
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable to a dynamic environment
- Interest in automotive use-cases
- Strong affinity towards technology and technological advancements
Preferences
- Languages: English (fluent, oral, and written), German skills also a plus
