What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
· Be able to commit to working the entire 13 week summer internship program (May 2025 - August, 2025)
· Be willing to work from the Atlanta or MSP office (as agreed upon during the interview). Most teams work a partially onsite / partially remote (hybrid) work schedule with management approval.
· Have a 2.5 GPA or higher and have completed at least 2 years in a college program, with degree emphasis in Computer Science, Software Development, Systems/Industrial/Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics/Operations Research, Cyber Security, Business Management, or a related field
· Ideal candidates have strong analytical, leadership, written and verbal communication skills
· Embrace diverse people, thinking and styles
· Consistently make safety and security, of self and others a priority
· Have an interest in solving complex problems and investing the time and energy to overcome roadblocks and learn from mistakes
· Possess some awareness of Agile methodologies, Software Dev Lifecycle, cloud computing, as well as PC hardware components and/or maintenance
· Be able to conduct yourself in a mature manner and be comfortable working in a business casual work attire environment
· Be interested in working for Delta Air Lines after graduation if presented with a full time job offer opportunity

· Ability to digest large amounts of data and information and succinctly explain what can be learned from the data and how it can support decision making
· Desire to learn leadership techniques and best practices in problem solving and conflict resolution to enable innovation and progress on difficult to solve challenges of our customers
· Have a passion for working on cloud computing and technologies such as Mobile apps, Enterprise Web apps, APIs, Messaging, Databases, Big Data, or Artificial Intelligence
