Overview
The Summer Business Internship is a 10-week program beginning June 2nd, 2025 and concluding August 8th, 2025. During the summer, interns are paired with an industry mentor and given a project related to their department. The program also includes professional development sessions, participating in a service project, and multiple networking opportunities. At the end of the 10 weeks, interns will give a brief presentation on their project to a group of CoxHealth executives, directors, and mentors. "
Job Summary
In this role, Interns will have the opportunity to continue development and skills as it relates to their area of study through a robust ten week experience. The Internship program allows individuals to work on meaningful projects, hone their leadership skills, and gain relevant experience as it relates to business/support functions within a Healthcare setting. The Internship program allows for students to earn valuable knowledge by working alongside staff members through the completion projects and various industry tasks.
Job Requirements
Education
Required: Currently enrolled in a program at an accredited university with degree credit study emphasis in a related field OR recently graduated from a university with a degree in a related field

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to creativity evaluate and address departmental gaps/needs
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
