Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual circuit board designs and build prototypes to
assess feasibility
- Apply analytical and/or statistical methodologies to support design
decisions
- Perform lab activities, testing and experiments as directed by
engineering staff
- Perform investigations and troubleshooting of electrical circuits as
required
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- General understanding of product development and manufacturing
processes
- Familiar with selection of electrical components.
- Working knowledge of circuit board design and layout tools (i.e.
schematic capture, PCB layout)
- Working knowledge of data analysis software tools (i.e. Excel,
Python, MiniTab)
- Experience with medical devices/infusion pumps is a plus
- Good communication and written skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Junior/Senior standing pursuing BS in Electrical or Mechanical
Engineering
Travel Requirements
- None
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- On-site attendance
- Some duties are performed in a lab environment.
- Must have the dexterity to build and service electro-mechanical
devices
