What to Expect
As a Business Intelligence DeveloperIntern, you’ll learn the core concepts of corporate IT management and gain the skills necessary to develop metrics and KPI reporting. Our ideal candidate is a junior, senior, or graduate level college student with completed coursework related to technology and/or experience with business intelligence and data transformation.
Location: Onboarding, training, and some projects will be located at our 8220 N 23rd Ave. office in Phoenix, Arizona. All other work to be performed remotely.
Throughout this Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona internship, you will:
- ?Participate in data transformation and curation, development of data models, and the development of report visualizations.
- Assist the Chief of Staff in defining and developing the visual story of IT operations presented to leadership.
- Acquire data transformation and curation skills.
- Track and update action items, risks, and issues logs.
- Learn about the operational activities of enterprise IT.
- Develop proficiency working within the BCBSAZ SharePoint site.
- Communicate with IT and Business leaders.
- Kickstart a potential future career at BCBSAZ!
Qualifications
College coursework related to technology and/or experience with business intelligence and data transformation.
A junior, senior, or graduate-level college student.
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Intermediate PC proficiency
High level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Intermediate knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
